The aim of the European Conference on Spacecraft Structures, Materials and Environmental Testing (ECSSMET 2021) is to promote and facilitate discussion and exchange of experience and information among members of the various mechanical engineering disciplines and environmental testing community concerned with spacecraft development, assembly, integration and verification.

From 23th March to 25th March 2021, the 16th European Conference on Spacecraft Structures, Materials and Environmental Testing (ECSSMET 2021) welcomed more than 475 online delegates from 37 countries in an exceptional virtual setting.

 

Some facts:

  • 3 keynotes, panel discussion and 40 sessions with 181 individual presentations (live) as well as an electronic poster session
  • The virtual ECSSMET 2021 conference was attended by participants from 140 international companies and research institutions and 39 international universities.
  • Daily 9 hours of live broadcasting/streaming time in 4 parallel sessions – total 96 hours of live streaming time
